In April of this year, Marvel, in conjunction with the toy company Funko, launched Marvel Collector Corps, which is a bi-monthly subscription-based nerd box of epic proportions. Each box comes complete with at least one of Funko’s popular Pop! vinyl dolls, other collectibles, a t-shirt, a comic (so far), and a collector’s pin and patch. Everything found in the box is 100% exclusive to it- you can’t get it anywhere else!
The inaugural box, themed around the then-upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron film, contained the Iron Man Hulkbuster Pop! doll (pictured below), which was the heaviest one to date, weighing in at a whopping 1.15 pounds.

For just $30 every two months, this subscription box packs a punch and gives you every penny’s worth, for the exclusive items in each are worth much more than what you pay. I have subscribed to other nerd boxes, including Lootcrate and Nerd Block, but eventually became disappointed by both. Since the dawn of these type of subscription boxes, I have been looking for one that consists mostly of toys, and maybe a t-shirt, and Marvel Collector Corps is definitely the closest thing to it. Stay tuned for a glimpse at June’s Ant-Man themed box, and the upcoming Secret Wars box that I will be receiving towards the end of this month!
