This week one year ago, Jenn’s parents took us down to Walt Disney World as a sort of engagement present, and before we even checked into the hotel, we went to one of the most amazing places I had ever seen or ever will again. I am obsessed with Legos, and jumped at the chance to visit Legoland. An ear-to-ear smile spread across my face as I approached the gate, and spent the rest of the day, jaw agape, snapping pictures, taking in the masterful creations upon which I would lay my eyes. Ghostbusters Anniversary Special: The Toys

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters, two amazing toy lines were released earlier this year. The first of which was released by the company Funko, a personal favorite of mine. Funko is known for its primary line of Pop vinyl dolls, which are short figures with large heads and smaller bodies, modeled after fictional characters and real celebrities. Funko put out their much anticipated line of Ghostbusters Pop dolls in April, which included Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Ray Stanz, Egon Spengler, Slimer, two different oversized versions of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and the Ecto1, (the Ghostbusters’ tricked out hearse, which comes with Winston Zeddemore behind the wheel). It was announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con that Lego would be releasing a new version of the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, and just the picture alone sends a joyful tingle down my spine. Continue reading
