Happy Beer Day! Welcome back to this Sunday’s edition of The Beer List at The No Seatbelt Blog! The summer is in full swing, and it’s time to celebrate with a great seasonal brew from Victory, one of my favorite breweries. Let’s take a trip back to last October, when I attended Octoberfest Live in Philadelphia. It was there that I sampled Victory’s Kirsch Gose for the first time, and I was not only surprised that Victory’s stand at the venue had this beer out during that time of year, but I found this sour cherry beer to be so refreshing even on such a cold, windy day spent mostly in an open parking lot. The Beer List: Victory Moon Glow

The Beer List is back this week at The No Seatbelt Blog with a review of a beer that I had for the first time a couple short weeks ago. The beer in question, that I spotted at my local liquor store, is Victory Brewing’s Moon Glow, which I had never seen before. The Victory catalog has done me well thus far, so their name alone holds quite a bit of currency when it comes to my incredibly indecisive nature when it comes to picking out a new beer to try.  Continue reading

For the second week in a row, a beer from Victory Brewing enjoys the spotlight here at The No Seatbelt Blog, for this special Christmas edition of The Beer List. Unfortunately, my first choice for this episode was White Christmas from Sam Adams, but I have been searching in vain to find it this year, and I ran out of time to write this review as scheduled. All the way from the magical land of Pennsylvania comes a Belgian tripel ale that will knock your socks and your taste buds off, and it goes by the mighty name of Golden Monkey. Victory Brewing, located in Downingtown, has been pumping out this strong but delicious triple ale for nearly two decades, and it’s no wonder why it has such staying power. Continue reading
